Tick Tock

8:53pm.

Still waiting. Recovery nurse will not give me any information. Ted is still in the recovery room, 5 hours after his surgery. They let me see him for about 10 minutes, but that was over 2 hours ago.

So, still sitting in this waiting room where I have been for the past 9 hours. There is pretty much nobody else here, just a few stragglers, in the same boat I'm in. I think there is one person still in surgery.

Hopefully Ted is resting peacefully and not in any pain. I am livid that nobody will tell me what's going on and when he'll be able to go to his room. This is getting ridiculous!

My cell phone is dead and I have no reception here, so please don't be alarmed or offended if you do not get a phone call tonight. I'm about ready to find a corner and sleep here in this waiting room.
