Ted is healing well. His fever and heart rate are down, and he has good blood pressure. He looks good, but won't let me prove it to you with a picture.
Physical Therapy came in bright and early this morning. You should have SEEN the look on Ted's face when they told him he was going to get out of bed! I think he was counting on a quiet day of napping and getting pumped full of nice pain killers.
Ted not only got out of bed, but walked the hallway, and spent the rest of his day sitting in a chair and checking out the view. They finally let him get back in bed after dinner, but he's hooked up to that awful continuous passive motion (CPM) machine that makes his leg bend and straighten. It hurts, but it's supposed to make his recovery quicker and help him keep from stiffening up.
He's tired, but he's in a good mood and told me to say that "Everyone is SO NICE and I really appreciate all the concern and nice words." He said some more, but he tends to babble with the pain meds they're giving him.
He's really touched, and so am I! We are truly blessed to know and love all of you!

So glad to hear that things are going well. I know you were in pain when that block wore off. I think it is something that you can not prepare for!
Sounds like you are getting excellent physical care. We will continue to keep both of you in our prayers.

HI Holly ! So happy that things are going well. Tell our "Brave Little Soldier" that we will miss him ( and you of course ) at Tony's Wedding on Saturday. We still expect to see Ted doing some DISCO --- some time in the near future. Lots of Love
