Ted's mood has been up and down today. He was really dragging this morning, and I had to almost drag him off the couch to shave and wash up.
He's getting around the house pretty well with his walker. He even came out this morning to listen for the sonic booms from the space shuttle's landing (Thanks for the head's up Melody!)
Ted's most recent comment was, "This sucks" I reminded him there's no going back now, and the only thing to do is keep working at it. He's getting stronger every day, and he has more range of motion today than yesterday.
We're going to distract him. Crystal and I are going to go out later and try to score some old Playstation 1 games. If we can't find any, I might surprise him with a newer version of Playstation and a couple of games. Anything to keep him happy and motivated, and to keep him from staying in bed all day.
I'm a bit bummed today too. I am "homesick" thinking about all the fun they're having in NH today. I keep asking to listen in to the wedding via cell phone, but after the funeral fiasco last year, nobody is willing to do it. :)
Our friends Steve, and Steve and son Daniel visited this afterrnoon. Ted enjoyed the visit. I don't think they enjoyed it so much though..... Jack was HYPER and obsessed with Steve S. He wouldn't leave the poor guy alone!
Ted has physical therapy tonight between 5-6pm. How cool is that. The PT must not have much of a social life if he has to work on SATURDAY nights.... that's just not right. I guess I'm spoiled by having "teacher's hours" I wouldn't trade it for anything.
Off to get Ted a "present!"
